National Beta is the largest independent, non-profit, educational youth organization in America. The organization recognizes high academic achievement, promotes character and social responsibility, encourages service involvement in school and community, fosters leadership skills, and provides settings for your child to develop interpersonal relationship skills.
The WCA has two Beta Club chapters. Junior Beta Club holds inductions of 7th and 8th graders each fall. High School Beta Club holds inductions of 9th and 10th graders each spring. Both chapters complete service projects in conjunction with Weddington Methodist Church ministries. Students are inducted based on academic record, moral character, and leadership.
