At WCA, we are committed to helping students discover their unique purpose and value in a supportive, faith-based environment. We offer a college-preparatory education which addresses the whole student. Students will grow academically, socially, and spiritually as they prepare for their next steps. We are proud to add 11th grade in fall 2026, with our first graduation anticipated in May 2028.

Dual Enrollment

Weddington Christian Academy is proud to offer Dual Enrollment Classes to juniors and seniors in partnership with LeTourneau University. Students must maintain a 3.0 GPA to be eligible for dual enrollment.

The following asynchronous online courses are being offered in 2026-27:
Intro to Business
Computer Science
Intro to Psychology
Art Appreciation

Guidance

 

Pursing Christ, Learning, Advising, Coaching, Exploring, Discerning

At WCA, we are committed to helping students develop their God-given abilities as they prepare for the future. PLACED is a four-year guidance program designed to equip WCA students with the tools necessary to discern their next steps and prepare for God’s plan for their lives. Features of our PLACED program include:

  • Advising appointments with parents and students to discuss goals.
  • Annual advising workshops presented in partnership with Scholarship Gold
  • In-school standardized testing including the PSAT, SAT, and ACT
  • Annual college field trips to explose students to a variety of educational opportunities
Technology

Students in grades 9th and 10th use Apple devices at a one-to-one ratio for use of their online components. All High School students have a school issued email address and a subscription to Microsoft Office 365 Student Edition.  High School online components include:

  • Autentico Online Textbook
  • Savvas Online Textbook
  • Quizlet
  • Google Classroom
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive & Outlook

Each high school student is expected to have their own MacBook.

Awards and Honors

At Weddington Christian Academy, we feel it is a privilege to celebrate our students' God-given abilities. To that end, the Annual High School Awards Ceremony takes place each spring. Awards are given for academics, athletics, and the arts, as well as community service and leadership.

Activities and Athletics

WCA offers a variety of extracurricular activities through its EYAS program. Click  HERE to learn more about our current offerings, which include:
