The Parent Teacher Fellowship “PTF” of Weddington Christian Academy exists to support the mission of WCA by fostering a biblical partnership of parents, faculty, and staff in the education and training of our children. The PTF assists school leadership in various fundraising, social activities, and special projects as needed.
All parents and legal guardians of WCA students are automatically members of the PTF, along with all WCA teachers and staff members. There are no dues.
PTF meetings take place at 8:15 am on the first Tuesday of each month. Any meeting changes required by the school calendar will be determined at the prior meeting and communicated on the website.
The objectives of the PTF are:
To encourage and participate in intercessory prayer
To create opportunities for fellowship among families
To sponsor school programs, extracurricular activities, and outreach
To develop school and community spirit in students
To coordinate school fundraisers and special projects
To support and recognize the efforts of teachers and staff
To serve as ambassadors to the community on behalf of the school
