Parent's Parking Lot Prayer Ministry

Weddington Christian Academy’s success over the last twenty-one years is largely due to an ongoing commitment to prayer. Teachers and staff pray with and for each other. Each class prays together daily. All parent-teacher conferences and school events begin with prayer. And for many years, a group of parents have met weekly in the multi-purpose room to pray for the school. During COVID, we moved that parent gathering outside to the WCA parking lot. Much to everyone’s surprise, the new location brought a fresh focus, and “Parking Lot Prayer” was born.

Thursday Prayer Gatherings

Each Thursday morning after carpool, the “Parking Lot Prayer” team meets to lift up the needs of the school and its families. All are welcome to join us each week for prayer. If you are unable to join us, click here for our Prayer Calendar so that you can pray along with us from home!

Prayer Requests

It is our privilege to bring your prayer requests before the Lord. The prayer request portal below forwards to the email of a team member. Requests are prayed for during our regular weekly meeting and also through-out the week by individual team members. You may choose to remain anonymous or to share your name.
